QUALITY ASSURANCE
Every aspect involving the purchase, extraction, concentration, analysis,
bottling, and warehousing of Gaia Herbs products is managed through
Standard Operational Procedures (SOP’s). Each SOP conforms
to Good Manufacturing Practices that are compliant to the Food and
Drug Administrations proposed GMP’s for Dietary Supplements.
Jim Grant, Quality Assurance Officer, maintains strict controls of
all SOP records and oversees all change controls. Weekly audits are
made by Jim to ensure compliance. Gaia Herbs internal software system
itself is GMP compliant and facilitates tight controls from purchasing
to bill of materials to final point of sale. These internal practices
validate the quality control programs that are in place for the production
of all our products.
